Time Doesn't Wait
Silence is stealing our history β not time. Their stories hold the maps out of the patterns we were born into. Record them before the cycle repeats.

Before It's Too Late
The average person loses their last grandparent by age 30. Don't wait to ask the questions that matter.
More Than Names & Dates
Family history isn't just names on paper β it's the stories that remind you what to break free from, not keep repeating.
A Gift for Generations
Imagine your great-grandchildren hearing their ancestor's actual voice, their laughter, their wisdom β because you acted today.

DIY recording guide
Tips for Recording at Home
You don't need expensive equipment β just patience, presence, and a quiet room.
Use a quiet room
Background noise is the #1 thing that ruins recordings. Close windows, turn off fans, and silence phones.
Keep the mic close
If using a phone, hold it within arm's reach. A microphone doesn't need to be expensive β just close enough.
Test audio first
Record 30 seconds and play it back. You can't fix bad audio in editing β catching it early saves hours of regret.
Don't interrupt pauses
Silence often holds the best stories. When your elder goes quiet, wait. The pause is where the memory lives.
Charge your device
A dead battery an hour in is heartbreaking. Plug in or bring a fully charged phone backup.
Ask follow-up questions
The best moments come from 'tell me more.' Don't rush to the next question β go deeper, not wider.

Our story
Why I Started This
After spending a year diving deep into my own family history β tracing ancestors back through centuries β I realized most people never dig beyond what they're told.
We can't learn from the past if we don't know what really happened. Your grandparents hold the keys to understanding who you are and why you are the way you are.
